Yeah, I've slacked off lately on the comic book oriented stuff, but whatever, I've been busy and trying to get a new job, but on to The Stack. I'll only do the ones I got last week and when I get my comics tomorrow I'll attempt to get onto the reviews. Also Mortal Kombat (2011) Review more than likely this weekend, I have to beat it with all of he characters and give online a go before I fully review it with a score.
Amazing Spider-Man #659
Spider-Man is part of the new Fantastic Four aka The Future Foundation (due to the death of the Human Torch). They travel to the past and deal with pirate zombies, and Peter's new girl friend finds out that he isn't at work when he's out FFing. This issue sounds a bit ridiculous, but is a fun time. There is another section that has Ghost Rider, that is also fun, and is worth a read. I think it's an improvement over the previous issue.
4 out of 5 Spider-Men riding on a Ghostcycle
Deadpool #36
Deadpool's galactic activities come to a close, but the guy whose space hoopdy he stole, Macho Gomez, gathers some of Deadpool's sometimes friends, sometimes enemies. They attack in an all out awesome fest and some truths about Deadpool's psyche are revealed.
This issue is great and seems to lead into another arc (with the Hulk?). My favorite part is when our old Merc-y charges the groups of villian and screams Leroy Jenkins!! (If you don't get it, then look it up)
If you like Deadpool at all, then get. this. issue. I hope the next arc is as awesome as this single issue.
5 out of 5 LEROY JENKINS!!!!!
Justice Society of America #50
This is also a great issue. This is starting a new arc after Alan Scott gets paralyzed and Jay Garrick becomes the new mayor of Monument Point. There are two other stories in this oversized issue. One details the current heroes becoming inspired by the old JSA. One is about the JSA being called before the Macarthy Era and being called commies and accused of being un-american.
I enjoyed all three stories (the congress one leads into the current story), but the first one about the inspiration of the JSA is my favorite. There are some important things that happen, but check out the issue to see.

Brightest Day #24
OMG Swamp Thing fights Swamp Thing and Brightest Day closes (I think, the arc anyway). Okay... slow down. The Swamp Thing that is Swamp Thing isn't Alec Holland, but Alec Holland is now a White Lantern Swamp Thing fighting the Black Lantern Original Swamp Thing... Yeah, it's confusing, but so bad ass. The issue will explain what's going on more or less. The avatar that I mentioned in the last review is actually a corrupted Swamp Thing that thinks he is Nekron (Black Lantern Leader), so the avatar thing makes sense. Since ST controls most of the plant matter on Earth, this is a very bad thing.
I won't ruin the end, but it's better than I thought and if the series goes on, I don't know where they will go, but I look forward to it.
5 out of 5 White Lantern Swamp Things
Venom #2
Kraven vs. The New Venom aka Flash Thompson in the Savage Land. This is a good book. I feel like this new Venom shatters my low expectations given his default appearance (before he Venom outs). Flash Thompson is a conflicted and deep character, which given his origins, is surprising. Losing your legs in a foriegn war will do that to you I suppose. If you are a Venom fan, then check it out, but I feel Spider-Man fans will enjoy more.
