Mortal Kombat Legacy Episode 3 Review

Part 3 takes a different approach to the story than the previous two parts did.  This one being about Johnny Cage, they start the episode off as an entertainment show about the acting martial artist we all know and love.  It chronicles his rise and surprisingly enough, fall from stardom.
The fact that Cage's career is floundering gives the story a bit more depth than I expected.  Johnny is normally a superstar, and in this he can't even break into movies.
The entertainment show sections and tv segments are sometimes hilarious, due to it making fun on tv in general, but when Johnny fights, it's awesome.  The mix between comedy and seriousness is excellent, but the version I watched was censored (to which machinima.com says unedited version will be out Friday, makes me suspect that Ep. 1 and 2 might be hiding more gore on Fri.).  All of the cursing is silenced out and can be a bit distracting.
Once again this is free, so even if it disappoints you, it was free.  I reccomend it, and the ending may be the best part of the episode.  I really hope they put this whole series out on blu ray.  MK Annihilation is on Blu Ray, if that piece of crap can make it to BR, then this series definately deserves it.
